About Us

Welcome to Coal City Elementary School!  We are home to approximately 285 students.  The ES has 6 classrooms of Second Grade, 7 classrooms of Third Grade, and a Cross-Categorical Classroom.  We also have two programs for our autistic students and ED students. 

Students at the ES participate in multiple Specials each trimester.  Students go to Art, Library, Music, Science (2nd), and Physical Education.
