Musicians in second grade have created a talent show for their class this week. Acts have included singing, various percussion instruments, skits, puppets, and dance routines. Students spent one music class deciding what to perform and another class practicing. Most acts are completely original.
Third grade musicians have spent the last couple of weeks learning the mini-musical, “The Little Red Hen.” All students have a speaking part, sing all of the songs, and play an instrument while singing. They enjoyed the musical so much that they voted to invite second grade classes in to watch their performances.
