The Coal City Community Unit School District 1 Board of Education announces a vacancy on the Board of Education, and under Section 10-10 of the School Code the position will be filled by appointment until the next school board election in spring 2025.
Residents of the Coal City School District interested in filling the vacant position are welcome to submit a resume to be considered for appointment to the Board of Education.
Resumes are to be submitted to Superintendent Christopher Spencer no later than 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 30. Resumes can be hand delivered or mailed to the District Administration Center, 550 S. Carbon Hill Rd., Coal City or emailed to [email protected]
