THEY ARE HERE!  We will get them labeled and distributed this week of January 8 during music class!
Process for earning Karate Belts in Music
  • Belts go in order:  white, yellow, orange, green, purple, blue, red, brown, black (then there are extra, higher levels)
  • Students have to practice the song on their own and complete the worksheet for that song.
  • Once the worksheet is correctly finished, students perform the song for Mrs. Kodat.
  • If notes come out nicely, fingers are smooth, and rhythm is correct, students earn their belt and move on to the next color.
  • Any student who has left CCES is welcome to send video recordings of themselves playing the next belt level song, and they may continue to earn belts.  Email videos to [email protected]
